Due to the ongoing international health concerns and advice provided by the Irish Government, we have decided to postpone both the Beetle Drive on Saturday and our AGM on Sunday until further notice. Church Services are not currently affected

The Beetle Drive for all the family is on Saturday 14th @ 4pm. There will be a simple but substantial tea served half-way through! The suggested donation is €10 per adult or €25 per family. All funds raised are going to support the costs of the Cahaba Park trip. There is a sign-up sheet to help with planning the catering. If you have missed this, please let Dawn know if you will be attending
Voting papers for new Elders and Committee members have been circulated. If you have not received yours, you will be able to get them next Sunday, but they must be returned on Sunday 15th.
Our Church AGM is on Sunday 15th after church. If you are planning to attend, there is a sign-up sheet for catering or again, please speak to Dawn

Last night we raised €700 towards the Cahaba Park Trip at our Table Quiz - thanks to everyone for your support
On Tuesday between 10:30 and 12:30 there will be a Coffee Morning in the YWCA
Grace & Faith - The next Greystones Women's event will be @ 7pm on Friday 21st in St. Patrick's with a "Salsa & Chili" night (that's an hour's dancing lesson, not hot sauce), followed by food and a short talk by Niamh Daly of Tearfund Ireland

Half term is coming up and our young people are offering to do odd jobs in aid of their trip - please contact Gary with any requests.
On March 22nd the Peacehaven Trust will be marking 40 years of service and are marking the occasion by inviting staff and friends to a service of celebration in our church at 3pm - Please RSVP to Peacehaven if attending

United Appeal: We have raised a total of €1,500 towards our United Appeal target of €5,000. The balance will come from church funds
World Development: All "loose" collections in December (including Christmas Day) along with specific contributions in the envelopes provided will go towards this appeal.
For those contributing to the weekly freewill offering, envelopes for 2020 are now available. If you would prefer to contribute by standing order, bank details will also be provided
On Friday 20th there will be a ladies coffee morning in the manse, 10:30 to 12:00 proceeds in aid of the Cahaba Park Church trip
Gary has a number of CD's for sale featuring a number of songs by Gary and Deborah. The CD is entitled "Facing Cancer, Standing Tall" and all proceeds are going to charity

Next Summer, we are planning a return trip for our young people to Cahaba Park to participate in their Holiday Bible Club and will be fund-raising towards this. On Friday 13th, 10:30 to 12:00 in the Manse there will be a Ladies Coffee Morning to kick this off

Next Sunday, October 13th, we will be having our regular service @ 11:00am but we will then be in the RTE studios @ 1:30pm to record a television service. Please note that the entrance to RTE is now off the N11 and not via Nutley Lane.

We had 35 children at our new Children's Club - well done to our young people who lead from the front on this. Most of the children were from outside our usual church network which was great to see

It's Gary's birthday today!
A great time was had by both children and leaders at last week's Holiday Bible Club - the leaders are looking forward to a well-earned rest!
Gary will be away at the New Horizon conference this week in Coleraine. Jim Carson will be providing pastoral care in his absence. Terry Price will be preaching next Sunday.
There are currently two Sunday's in the summer where we are looking for volunteers to supervise the children. If you are available and willing to help out on August 18th or 25th, please let Dawn, Gary or Craig know (videos available, no preparation required!)

Tiglin & Newcastle Parish Church - there is a fundraiser for these two organisations on Sunday. This takes place is the gardens of Ballydoneray House in Kilcoole NEXT SUNDAY, 30th JUNE. The YWCA is on a final push for raising funds for the Youth Cafe (check out their Facebook page for pictures) and are holding a musical event called "Over the Top" in the Hot Spot over the Beach House next Saturday - tickets from the YWCA or Joyce Lee
