The Presbyterian Church in Greystones was built on its current site in 1887. There had been a temporary building in Kilpedder, built to cater for Scottish workers who had been brought in to operate spinning machines in a factory in Tinna Park, Kilpedder prior to the current building.
To commemorate the churches centenary in 1987, James Seery wrote a very full history of the church, there are some copies left which could be obtained from one of the contact listed under the contacts, on this site.
As I get time I will flesh out this page. Check back later!
