Women’s Bible Study: Friday morning, 10:00am at the house of Jen Robinson. Please speak to Jen for further details.

Bible Study and Prayer in the Manse (2 La Touche Park) this Thursday (17th) at 8pm The course is called Discipleship Explored and follows the discussion format of Christianity Explored. It will take place fortnightly and run for 8 sessions. If you have never been part of a small group before this is an excellent opportunity to try it out for a limited period.

It is hoped that there will be two of these groups. If you are interested in the Discipleship Explored course but cannot attend on Thursdays please let us know a time and a place that suits you.

Next Sunday we will be having a special All-Age Service and continuing our series on “What Church is all About” as we look at Different People – Different Ages.

Special Autumn Work Day in Church and Grounds: Saturday, 10th of October, 9:00am – !2:00 noon. Bring tools / gardening and cleaning equipment.

Please Note the following special Sunday arrangements:

  • The October Service of Communion has been brought forward to 27th of September because of the church weekend.
  • The service on the 4th of October will be led by Ken Gibson and there will be summer arrangements in place for Sunday Club.
  • Our Harvest Thanksgiving Service will be held on the 11th of October. Look out for details relating to church decoration.

Congregational Weekend:
“Growing Together” a weekend for all the church family. October 2nd – 4th at Ovoca Manor, Avoca. Come and join us for a weekend away. A chance to get to know each other and spend time out of the normal routine. Children’s and teens activities as well as events we can all do together.

Application forms and information at back of church. No age-limit! Members can also stay in local accommodation and join us for activities if they desire. Best rooms offered first-come, first-served. Final deadline for applications – Monday, 14th of September.

Growing Leaders:
our exciting new course is aimed at anyone who would like to grow in faith and find out more about themselves and about the God they are called to serve.

There is no age-limit, nor are there any strings attached in terms of what you would be expected to do after the course. It runs for one evening a month up until June (with two days away). Launch Day Away: Saturday 26th of September. The course will then take place on the following Sunday evenings:

  • 15 November
  • 20 December
  • January Day Away
  • 21 February
  • 21 March
  • 18 April
  • 16 May
  • 20 June
