Announcements for 21st of December, 2008, to 4th of January, 2009

Parents with children under 3 are encouraged to use our crèche facilities in the Hall at the back, at any time during the service. Our crèche team are on duty from the beginning of the service.

December 21st: This is an All-age service and the children will remain in church for the duration. Please join us for tea and coffee after the service.

December 28th & Jan 4th: Those of primary school age will leave for Sunday club during the service, and teens will leave after the sermon.

Sundays

21st, Christmas All-age service including participation from members of Sunday Club. Children are invited to bring an unwrapped present and place it under the tree. It can then be given to a needy family over the Christmas period.

Monty and Gwen are having a Christmas “At Home” at the Manse, 2 La Touche Park, from 4pm to 9pm today (21st). Please pop in any time during this period. Just bring yourself!

28th, we continue our series from Matthew 1 & 2. This morning Monty will be speaking to us about Matthew 2:13-23: “No ordinary response”.

4th Jan. This is a communion service. The preacher will be our former minister Rev. Jim Carson

No Living Stones youth group over the New Year period.

During the Week @ GPC:

Thursday 25th; Christmas morning service at 10.30am.

Friday: Women’s Bible Study, at 10am, speak to Jen Robinson for details of arrangements over the holiday period.

Looking Ahead

Sunday 11th: The preacher will be our congregational volunteer John O’Donnell who will preach on the Prodigal Son from Luke 15.

THANKS: to all who helped with the preparation for the Charlesland Carol Service on Sunday and on the day itself. It was a good success.
